Nice choice on the mechanical pencil. I use that one at work, and at the house, a Pentel Twist-Erase III (https://www.pentel.com/products/twist-erase-iii-mechanical-pencil)
Now the real debate: are you a .5 lead or .7 lead guy?
i love these pencils. i’ve used them since high school. dad got me hooked on them.
i currently have the 0.7. i find that i don’t break the lead quite as much while writing in the “field” with the 0.7. i have used the 0.5 and prefer it normally. my last one broke. the plastic gets brittle and then cracks. this current 0.7 is actually superglued together if you can believe it.
and . . . fun fact . . . at one time i had a 0.3 mm. i got it and the lead from an architectural drafting supply store in sw houston. used in my drafting class in college.
